I just participated in a challenge dedicated to this amazing artist of all times, Frida Kahlo. I didn't want to go along the way without blogging about her.
I don't want to write that much, but I do want to share this quote of hers, which in a sense, tells me that she wanted to share her pains and feelings through her art to give a statement. She was so so strong! She didn't give up painting despite her pain; instead she painted to get away from it and to overcome the fears she had. She is telling us to keep going despite the adversities, despite the hurtful situations in life!

Spanglish team and Etsy Owls team from Etsy got together to embrace this amazing artist and to give a call to all members to participate in making an art piece inspired by her.
